Leftovers
Here’s one more book to add to Fridays list that got missed.
“I have learned that what I have not drawn I have never really seen, and that when I start drawing an ordinary thing, I realize how extraordinary it is, sheer miracle.” ~ Frederick Frank
This quote was in the Tim Ferriss newsletter last week and brought the book to mind.
“The Zen of Seeing”
It’s a philosophy of art kinda book with Frederick sketches peppered through out. His words might ring a bell if you also read my free ebook on “How to draw like a painter”
He’s got some great quotes, here’s another keeper:
“Merely looking at the world around us is immensely different from seeing it.”
How was today's edition?? |
Happy Sketching!
