Begin by learning to draw and…(– Salvador Dalí)
Drawing Time: 20min Daily:)
Begin by learning to draw and paint like the old masters. After that, you can do as you like; everyone will respect you."
Welcome to Daily Drawing! Turning your inbox into a habit trigger for drawing every day:) If you missed the welcome letter or are not sure how to get the most out of this newsletter, you can read it here.
Hey everyone! Hope you’re keeping you’re pencils sharp and constantly running out of paper:) Still on the weekly schedule and probably will remain on it for a while. Regarding the e-Book the response was ambivalent so I will move that to the back burner.
For those artists out there that are diligent about a daily drawing habit, and are running out of references, keep in mind that the newsletter is now one year old! First issue was March 16, 2023. This is relevant because all those issues are archived online! Just go to Dailysktch.com Scroll down and you’ll see past issues in reverse chronological order. Keep scrolling and you’ll see the pagination bar (page 1,2,3, ect…). Hit the button that says last and in one of life’s little ironies you’ll get to the first issue. We’re up to 255 issues, so for 95% of the list, you’ll find a ton of new drawing references:)
